In accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, shaft couplings are classified as components forming part of equipment within the group of non-electrical materials. The Samiflex® flexible coupling meets the ATEX conformity requirements for Group II, Categories 2G (gas) and 2D (dust), Explosion Group IIC, and Temperature Class T4. The assembly instructions for the ATEX-qualified Samiflex® coupling are available to our customers upon request.
