Samiflex®

Samiflex® - Elastic insert
Samiflex® elastic inserts are manufactured in three material grades and five hardness levels, and are made from a special polyurethane elastomer blend.
- High resistance to tearing, shear, and torsion.
- High damping capacity with stable, consistent performance.
- Excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, oils, corrosive vapors, and a wide range of chemicals.
- Stable performance characteristics between –40° and 80°C.
- Also available for applications between –40° and 140°C (HT).
- No aging degradation.
- Excellent performance and long service life of the elastic insert in abrasive, corrosive, and humid environments — all without lubrication or maintenance.
Blue elastic insert

The blue Samiflex® elastic insert has a soft hardness (80 Shore A).
Its allowable temperature range goes from –40°C to 80°C.
It absorbs vibrations generated by high rotational speeds or large driven elements, such as industrial fans or flywheels.

Yellow elastic insert

The yellow Samiflex® elastic insert has a standard hardness (95 Shore A).
Its allowable temperature range goes from –40°C to 80°C.
It is the most commonly used general-purpose option and works for virtually all applications.
Orange elastic insert

The orange Samiflex® elastic insert has a standard hardness (95 Shore A).
It is one of the inserts designed for high-temperature applications. Its allowable temperature range goes from –40°C to 140°C.

Brown elastic insert

The brown Samiflex® elastic insert has a hard hardness level (97 Shore A).
Its allowable temperature range goes from –40°C to 80°C.
It is specially designed for low-speed, high-torque applications (<750 rpm), such as gearbox output applications.
Red elastic insert

The red Samiflex® elastic insert has a hard hardness level (97 Shore A).
Its allowable temperature range goes from –40°C to 140°C.
It is specially designed for low-speed, high-torque applications (<750 rpm) in high-temperature environments.
